Guests will enter a holiday fantasy world illuminated by dynamic light displays, immersive light tunnels, and twinkling pathways that brighten the season. The event will offer delightful holiday-themed games, delicious seasonal food and treats, local vendors with unique holiday gifts, and even photo opportunities with Santa Claus!
Included with admisison, ride the enchanting historic carousel or board the Oaks Park train for a charming wintery journey. With so much to see and do, Winter Gleam promises to become a new Portland holiday tradition!

Join DJ Maxx Bass at our throwback bash as he spins the raddest jams from the prime roller rink era of 1970 through 1999! Rock your retro gear and rewind to the good ol' days!
Pre 2K Skate happens on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays every month.

Thanksgiving Night
Special Holiday Skate from 7-9:30 PM
Skate away your turkey dinner by joining us the evening of November 28, 2024, for a special Thanksgiving night pipe organ session celebrating the holiday! Hear festive favorites on the live Wurlitzer pipe organ as our organist gets the holly-jolly musical season underway!

Fun for homeschoolers from 10 AM-12 PM
Connect with other homeschoolers and have active, indoor fun with local at-home learners and their families.
Held monthly during the school year on 1st and 3rd Mondays. 1st Mondays now include a new STEM program for homeschoolers; visit our STEM page for more info.

Jump out of the mainstream and join the quirky kids for a skating night set to the infectious sounds of synth-pop and post-punk!

10-11:30 AM for 6 & Younger
Our littlest friends get the run of the rink during this twice weekly skating time just for kids 6 and younger and their families.
Admission includes standard skate rental, a 15-minute group lesson, snack time, and a visit from Chipper the Squirrel!.
Admission: $13 per child
One adult free per paid child. Older siblings are welcome with a preschool age child; admission rates apply to all children.

During Chipper's Preschool Skate from 10-11:30 AM
Join us for special sensory-sensitive on Wednesdays during Preschool Skate!
Music volumes will be reduced, disco lights turned off, and a quiet sensory play space will be provided.
Kids 10 and younger are welcome to participate in Sensory Skate.

2Raw Skate Club presents a late-night skate event full of fun, friends, and great music by your favorite DJs.

We are excited to welcome you to our first Sip 'n Skate science night on December 30th!
Admission includes a group STEM activity focusing on experiencing Newton's Law of Motion through roller skating, plenty of free-skating time with a live DJ, standard skate rental, and a beverage ticket good for one drink of your choice at Rick's Cafe.

Nightly from 6-10 PM as part of the city-wide festival
Since our inception, light features have been an integral part of the joy and wonder that Oaks Park has brought to our community.
Enjoy a walk down the midway and view the artistry of light from dynamic modern ride lights to the charm of our antique attractions.
Admission to the midway is free. Rides will not be operational. Parking fees apply. The Roller Rink Cafe is open at 7 PM Tuesday-Sunday. Restrooms are available near the rink.
Offers and discounts are not combinable and are not valid as part of any package. Safety regulations, hat clip rules, and dress guidelines apply to all events with a clothing theme. Roller skating is a physical activity with an inherent risk of injury; by participating you assume the risk of injury. All skaters must complete a waiver. Waivers for minors must be completed by a parent or guardian.
