Days & Times

Chipper's Preschool Rides takes place from 10 AM-12:30 PM every Tuesday and Wednesday between June 17 and August 27, 2025.

Age Limit

Chipper's Preschool Rides is for children 6 and younger only. Older children may only attend with a sibling who is 6 or younger; you must purchase admission for the older sibling to ride.

Admission

Purchasing Tickets

The number of admissions for Chipper's Preschool Rides offered each day is limited and tickets often sell out before we open for the day; to guarantee admission you must purchase admission tickets online in advance. Tickets are available for online purchase starting 90 days in advance. Walk-in purchasing is subject to availability. Tickets must be redeemed for a stamp at the Ticket Booth on the date listed on the ticket. If you wish to use a Chipper Card to book your tickets in advance, call 503-233-5777 or email weborders@oakspark.com M-F between 9 AM and 4 PM.

Each child must have a ticket; adults may ride free with a paid child.

Refunds & Cancellations

Chipper's Preschool Rides admission is non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for the date/time listed on the ticket. In cases of emergency, tickets may be rescheduled by emailing weborders@oakspark.com a minimum of 72 hours before the date/time listed on the ticket.

Ride Maintenance

There are no refunds or price reductions if a ride is closed for maintenance during all or part of the operating day.

Weather

Oaks Park is open rain or shine. When an extreme heat warning is in effect, the park may close early. There are no weather-related refunds, exchanges, or rain checks.

At the Park

Activities

The ticket booth opens at 9:30 AM.

The kiddie rides and selected family rides operate from 10 AM-12 PM. Rides included with admission include the Oaks Park Train, Carousel, Tilt-a-Whirl, Big Pink Slide, Frog Hopper, Up, up & Away, Jump Boats, Zoom Coaster, Toon Cars, Sky Fightsrs, Chipper's Choppers, Rockin' Tug, and Tree Top Drop. Visit our ride guide for rider requirements. An admission stamp is required for access to all of the rides that operate during the event, including the Train and Carousel.

Snack and storytime are from 12-12:30 PM. Snacks are only for children and handstamps will be checked.

Rider Requirements

Admission allows unlimited access to the kiddie rides and selected family rides for the selected date from 10 AM-12 PM. Rider requirements and restrictions vary by ride; please visit our Ride Guide for details. Roller skating, miniature golf, and games are sold separately.

Food & Beverages

Admission includes a small snack for each paid child. Midway concessions open at 12 PM; view menu.  Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the amusement park; outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.  Tables on the midway are reserved for guests with purchases from our concessions.  A limited number of first-come, first-served picnic tables are available at the south end of the park. Parking

A parking fee of $4 per vehicle applies during Chipper's Preschool Rides. The parking fee is payable onsite via self-service parking meters or on your mobile device at t2p.mobi/oaks1905. Only credit/debit cards are accepted at the parking meters; please visit Guest Services to pay with cash. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and the lot frequently fills to capacity; do not purchase your parking online until you have a parking space onsite. There are no refunds. Failure to pay the parking fee will result in penalties. Carpooling is strongly recommended. For frequent visitors, parking permits are available. Monthly permits are $13 and quarterly permits are $33. Permits allow for unlimited parking, subject to parking space availability at the time of arrival, and are only available online at tocite.net/oakspark/Portal. Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance. The parking lot is private property and is only available to visitors of Oaks Park.  Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner’s expense. The closest bus stop is approximately 1 mile away; visit the Tri-Met trip planner to plan your route. Bike racks are available near the Roller Rink. Rates are subject to change without notice.
