During the 7-9:30 PM Open Skate Session

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month DJ Maxx Bass spins the raddest jams from the rink’s golden era—1970 through 1999. From disco grooves to hair-band anthems, hip-hop beats, and boy-band bops, it’s the soundtrack that defined a generation (or two).

Rock your flannels, JNCO jeans, windbreakers—or even your full disco sparkle. Whether you’re serving Saturday Night Fever or Saved by the Bell, you’ll fit right in as we rewind to the days before TikTok trends!

Glow Skate is back and brighter than ever!

Turn down the lights and turn up the fun at our wildly popular Glow Skate session! Roll under dazzling disco lights, join thrilling black-out skates, and experience the rink like never before.

It’s the ultimate night out for all ages, happening the 2^nd Friday of each month, October–April.

Every skater gets a FREE glow stick with admission—because the brightest memories are made in neon!

11 PM-2 AM • 18 & Older

Step into the rink after hours for an adult-only night of skating, music, and good vibes. Join your friends and other local skaters as talented DJs spin a mix of tracks that feels more like a club on wheels than a skate session

This is the perfect way to unwind, move to the beat, and enjoy a unique late-night experience at Oaks Park.

ID check required for age verification—no exceptions. Come ready to show ID.

Admission: $20.

5-9:30 PM • All Ages

From 5–7 PM, 97.1 Charlie FM fills the rink with everyone’s favorite festive tunes—classics parents grew up with and songs the kids can sing word-for-word!

Throughout the night, families can jump into a Christmas music trivia contest with great prizes, pose for adorable photos with The Skating Santa and Chipper the Squirrel, and enjoy a special themed cafe menu created just for the event.

Then from 7–9:30 PM, the atmosphere transforms as Oaks Park’s iconic live pipe organ takes over. The magical sound turns the rink into a cozy winter wonderland—a moment families will remember long after the ornaments are packed away.

We're celebrating one year of Sip 'n Skate events at Oaks Park this December!

Glide into a laid-back evening of skating, music, STEM learning, and good vibes while enjoying your favorite adult beverages from Rick's Cafe.

Bring friends for a fun night out, or ride solo—new friends are waiting to be made at the rink!  Sip 'n Skate is the perfect mix of chill and thrill on the rink floor. Lace up, sip responsibly, and let the good times roll!

Admission: $24
Admission includes one adult beverage. Guests 21 and older only; ID check required.

All-ages NYE Party from 7 PM-1 AM

"Rink" in the new year with us at our annual all-ages New Year's Eveskate party featuring a live DJ ready to take your requests, party favors for every guest, prize drawings, and, of course, a classic countdown to midnight! 

• Skating Only: $25
• Skating + Champagne (21+): $30
• Spectator (18+, No Skating): $9
• Spectator + Champagne (21+): $13

Everyone entering the building during this special event must have a ticket. For guests 21 or older, join our champagne toast at midnight to wish each other well in 2026!

During Preschool Skate from 10-11:30 AM

We are proud to offer a special sensory-sensitive skate time with lower music volume so little ears aren’t overwhelmed, no disco lights, keeping the atmosphere soft and stead, and a quiet sensory play space, perfect for downtime when kids need a moment away from the action

This session is open to children 10 and younger, with a focus on the fun of skating in a calm setting that feels safe, welcoming, and relaxed.

One adult skates free with each paid child

SESSION POLICIES

10-11:30 AM • 6 & Younger

Twice a week, kiddos 6 and under (plus their families) get the whole rink to themselves for a skating adventure sized just right for toddlers.

Each session is designed to help little ones build confidence on wheels and includes a 15-minute group lesson to practice balance, stopping, a snack break to recharge growing skaters, and a cuddly visit from our mascot, Chipper the Squirrel! Because every big skater starts small—let’s roll into fun together!

Admission: $13 per child
One adult skates FREE with each paid child.  Older siblings may join in with their preschooler (admission rate applies).

Step into a galaxy of glitter, glam, and groove at Bowie Skate at Oaks Park Roller Rink! Celebrate the Star Man with a night of skating to all your favorite Bowie hits.

Dress in your boldest Bowie-inspired looks and join fellow fans for a cosmic evening of music, movement, and magic. Whether you’re a Rebel Rebel or a Modern Love, this popular annual event allows you to shine like Ziggy Stardust!

Admission: $13

Event presented by Elizabeth Mollo Productions. Ticket quantities are limited. Admission includes standard skate rental.
