Oaks Park Skating Club
One of America's largest and most successful roller skating clubs, Oaks Park Skating Club, is proud to support and foster Artistic Roller Skating & Short Track Speed Roller Sports in the Portland, OR area.
Club Policies
Great skaters come from great leadership and a great framework for training and competition.
Our club rules and policies are maintained on an ongoing basis by our elected club officials with the goal of dynamic leadership helping to ensure that all of our skaters are able to enjoy the sport to its fullest and to skate every day at their best.
USARS Membership
USARS membership is required to participate in club practices. Both limited and full memberships are accepted for skaters. Coaches must purchase a Coach membership. Adults 18+ must complete SafeSport training.

Michelle Wilde
Club President
Michelle is a multi-time National Champion competing in dance and figures. She enjoys skating alongside her daughter, Kaicy, and volunteering for club activities with her husband Mike.
Aimee Sides
Figure Club Vice President
Aimee is a dedicated and joyful skater who has enjoyed a great deal of local and national success. She is always a great supporter of her teammates and helpful with any club project.
Donald Thomas
Speed Club Vice President
DonE is an integral part of the Oaks Park community participating in both art and speed skating and working in various departments including the Rink, Rides, and Events.
Pam Murray-McGraw
Club Secretary/Treasurer
Pam recently returned to skating after a long hiatus and her infectious joy and delight in being part of the skating club has elevated the experience for everyone!
April Frazier
Booster Club President
April and her husband Clint are super supporters of the skating club and devote lots of time to encouraging and supporting all OPSC members. Her two daughters, Evelyn and Sarah, are competitive skaters in the club.
Monica Jacquette
Booster Club Vice President
Monica, along with her husband Gerald and son Thomas, joined the skating club a few years ago and have been wonderful additions to the rink! In addition to her officer duties, Monica sews many club member's costumes.
Mary Warren

Secretary/Treasurer
Mary began her long association with Oaks Park Skating Club when her children, Jamie and Jeff, and her husband Dave were competitive skaters for the club.
Amy Hamblin
Club Advisor
Amy has been involved in the sport of roller skating for over 30 years and has enjoyed success as a national champion skater as well as a coach to many champions and world team members.
Susan Richardson
Head Coach
Susie has been involved in skating at Oaks Park for over 50 years with many regional and national championships to her credit. She teaches the longest-running skate class in Oaks Park history.
Beki Safar
Rink Manager
Beki has been involved in the management of the Roller Rink for over 20 years and is well known throughout the country as a passionate supporter of roller skating of all kinds.
Emily MacKay
Communications Officer
In addition to her role within the park as the Marketing & Events Director, Emily has enjoyed a successful 30-year skating career. She shares club membership with 7 of her family members.
