Shaded by the oak trees for which we are named, our lush and beautiful picnic grounds are an affordable and enjoyable option for your summer event.

The rides, mini golf, and midway games are open seasonally in the spring, summer, and fall. Roller skating is open year-round.

Parking & Directions
Located 10 minutes from downtown Portland at the east end of the Sellwood Bridge. Daily parking fees of up to $5 apply.
Skating Waivers
Waivers are required for anyone skating at Oaks Park. Please complete a waiver before purchasing your tickets.

Science Skate Night for 21 & Older
Welcome to Sip 'n Skate, a special night of skating and science for skaters 21+.
Admission includes STEM activities about reverse engineering a roller skate, relay races, plenty of free-skating time with a live DJ, and a beverage ticket good for one drink of your choice at Rick's Cafe.

Buy your Sip n' Skate tickets online in advance and standard skate rental is included, plus you're automatically entered to win a pair of tickets for Oktoberfest in September!
Onsite ticket purchases are subject to separate skate rental fees of $1-$5. Age verification required at the door. Everyone entering the building during this special event must have a ticket.
Celebrate the holiday with a bang! Admission includes all-day access to all of the rides, free first-come, first-serve picnic grounds, and Portland's best fireworks display!

For kids ages 3-9 years old, admission also includes a souvenir American flag and two (2) scrip, each valid for one (1) game, one (1) cotton candy, or one (1) ice cream treat!
Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
Everyone ages 3 and older must have a ticket to enter the park, including non-riders. Kids 2 and under are free. Ticket quantities are limited. No on-site, day of ticket sales. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome; outside alcohol is prohibited. Gates open at 11 AM. Games and mini golf are sold separately. The Roller Rink is closed on July 4.

Our littlest friends enjoy the park at their own pace on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings this summer! Ride the kiddie rides and selected family rides, then visit Chipper the Squirrel during snack and story time in the Historic Dance Pavilion! A limited number of admissions are available per day; purchase online to guarantee your spot.
